Today’s post is one that truly means a lot to me 💛

Back in September, I met a wonderful client who shared her journey with me one of strength, resilience, and determination. She had been through so much, facing cancer head-on and coming out the other side with incredible courage.

From that very first appointment, it was clear that her hair wasn’t just hair it was part of her story, her recovery, and her identity as she rebuilt her confidence.

Today marked a very special moment. This was her “goodbye” to that chapter. Together, we made the decision to go for a complete transformation from long hair to a beautiful, bold pixie cut ✂️

This wasn’t just a haircut. It was a fresh start. A celebration. A statement of strength and moving forward.

Being trusted with something so personal is the biggest honour in what I do. Moments like this remind me that hairdressing is so much more than styling it’s about connection, confidence, and being part of someone’s journey.

Schoolchildren's Discos 🏁

We were joined by over 200 children from the Galashiels cluster primary schools this morning for our annual Discos. We hope you all had a great time!
