Welcome to TM Aesthetics. I am a family doctor and a qualified aesthetic injector based in Lenzie/Kirkintilloch/Glasgow area. I am a qualified doctor since 2001 and have been a GP working as a partner in Battlefield Surgery Glasgow since 2009. While I enjoy being a family doctor, I am very passionate about Aesthetics. I offer wrinkle relaxing injections, dermal fillers and skin boosters. I believe
Rosacea is much more than just having rosy cheeks. It is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that can lead to persistent redness, visible thread veins, flushing, and, in some people, acne-like bumps.
While a good skincare routine helps strengthen the skin barrier and reduce irritation, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is widely regarded as one of the most effective treatments for the redness and visible blood vessels associated with rosacea. By targeting the tiny dilated blood vessels beneath the skin, IPL can reduce redness, calm frequent flushing, and improve overall skin tone.
A course of treatments, combined with the right medical-grade skincare, often gives the best long-term results and helps keep rosacea under better control.
Microneedling is one of my favourite treatments for improving overall skin quality. By creating tiny controlled microchannels in the skin, it stimulates collagen and elastin production, helping to improve skin texture, strengthen the skin barrier and soften fine lines.
When combined with a consistent medical-grade skincare routine, the results are even better. These tiny channels also allow the treatment serum to be absorbed more effectively, and exosomes can be added to take skin regeneration to the next level. If you’re not a fan of injectable skin boosters but still want to boost collagen naturally, microneedling may be an excellent option for you.
Adding a Dermalux LED light therapy session after treatment is another great option to help calm the skin, reduce redness, support healing and enhance the skin’s natural repair process. Healthy skin is built through consistency, not quick fixes.

If you’re on a weight loss journey, don’t wait until you reach your goal weight to start thinking about your skin. As we lose weight, we can also lose some of the natural support that keeps our skin looking firm and fresh. Treatments such as hyperdilute Radiesse and Lenisna are powerful collagen biostimulators that help strengthen the skin from within, supporting firmness and improving overall skin quality. Most people benefit from a course of 2–3 sessions, with treatments typically spaced 2–3 months apart, although this is always tailored to you.
The aim isn’t to change the way you look—it’s to help you look healthier, fresher and more vibrant throughout your weight loss journey, rather than feeling like your face has lost its sparkle.
Laser resurfacing is one of the most effective treatments for improving overall skin quality. It works by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen production, helping to improve texture, soften fine lines, reduce acne scarring, and create a smoother, more radiant complexion.
While many people notice an improvement after just one treatment, a course of 3–6 sessions may be recommended to achieve more significant transformation, depending on your starting point and individual skin concerns.
One of the advantages of this treatment is that it can be safely tailored for all skin types using appropriate settings, making it a versatile option for a wide range of patients.
Downtime is usually minimal, with redness and a rough, sandpaper-like texture for a few days before the skin heals and reveals a fresher, healthier appearance.
