βοΈ Seasonal Winter Guidance βοΈ
ποΈ Transition Season: 3β20 December
π¬οΈ Winter Season: 21 December β 3 March
Winter is tiptoeing inβ¦ and Tibetan Medicine offers beautiful wisdom to help us align with the season πΏβ¨
According to Tibetan Medicine, each season begins with a transition phase β a gentle shift that prepares body and mind. From 3β20 December, weβre entering Winterβs doorway. So what does this mean for our wellbeing?
π¨οΈ What Happens in Winter?
Winter brings cold, damp, dry, and wet conditions β all of which can impact our urinary system and kidneys. You might notice:
πΉ More frequent back pain
πΉ Changes in urinary frequency
πΉ Fluctuations in blood sugar
These are signals to slow down, warm up, and nourish deeply π
𧣠How to Support Yourself This Season:
π« Sip warm water with lemon, ginger & honey β a digestive tonic
π² Eat hearty soups, stews & warm meals
π« Avoid cold, iced, and raw foods
πΆββοΈ Move your body gently β walks, stretches, breathwork
𧀠Layer up: hat, scarf, gloves, cosy socks
π Soak in a hot bath with Epsom salts
πββοΈ Treat yourself to an oil massage, Hor-me or Moxabustion
β¨ Your body deserves warmth, care, and restoration this season.
