Awaken your skin’s natural processes of renewal with this powerhouse of nutrient-dense raw, cold processed plant oils and unprocessed organic botanicals.
Rich in beneficial essential fatty acids to support normal skin function, repair and maintain the barrier function and reduce inflammation. Vitality Serum is a superfood banquet for the skin, packed with phytonutrients including vitamins, minerals, protective antioxidants, carotenoids, flavonoids and polyphenols to fight free radicals, reduce oxidative damage and support healthy cell regeneration.
Ditch the ultra processed ingredients and discover the luminous glow that real nutrients give your skin.
My favourite botanical infusion to prepare is Rose, the apothecary is filled with the sweet intoxicating scent and the colour is sooo pretty, as she sits on the herbal shelf, showing off to the other infusions! She’s a bit of a diva but with good reason
With an extraordinary 300 active compounds, Rose is unarguably one of the most powerful natural healers for the skin. Thanks to its countless beneficial properties as an antiseptic, antibacterial and astringent, it has an incredibly healing and calming effect on the skin, supporting many conditions including acne, dermatitis, scars, wounds, and even stretch marks!
A powerful anti-inflammatory, emollient, and natural moisturiser, Rose not only restores and supports the skin’s texture but deeply nourishes and hydrates at the same time, making this one of the most effective and luxurious skin healing treatments nature has to offer.
Roses contain waxy lipids that are similar to our skin’s own ceramides, giving them the ability to repair a damaged lipid barrier. High in vitamins A and C, rose supports collagen and elastin production while combating environmental damage, from UV rays and pollution.

Dreams do come true.
It’s just less than 2 years since I took a deep breath and launched my skincare brand, wondering if people would embrace my whole food herbal plant formulations over processed lab formulations. It’s been hard work at times, there have been some tears along the way, but there has been so much joy too as I get to do something that I’m so passionate about.
Today was a very joyful and momentous day as I had the absolute pleasure of delivering my first retail order to the beautiful shop that is Sutherlands Hair and Beauty in Newport-on-Tay.
I was able to spend sometime with the lovely staff, introducing luibh and letting them try the products out. I felt so welcomed as we chatted. I’m so incredibly grateful to the wonderful Joanna for choosing Luibh, I couldn’t have wished for a better retail partner.
I’ll be back in store on Friday when hopefully I’ll get to meet some of the lucky people who live in this beautiful little corner of Scotland, to share luibh and its plant goodness.
My heart feels full 💚 🌱🌸
It’s been busy in the apothecary this week as I prepare the first order for .
Making sure I’ve not forgotten anything, all packed up and ready for delivery.
So thankful to Joanna and the Sutherlands team for choosing Luibh and inviting me to visit the store for ‘meet the maker’ (that’s me 😉) this Friday 14th August.
Come along and discover the magic ✨ that is whole plant skincare 🌱🍃

Last months Wild Ivy market at Gamble Halls was absolutely lovely. I met some wonderful new people, both visitors and fellow stall holders. The atmosphere was so vibrant and jolly, I’m really looking forward to being back this Saturday.
Be lovely to see you if you fancy a wee trip ‘doon the water’! Hehe, I think you need to be of a certain age and from Glasgow to understand that!
Busy in the Apothecary yesterday making fresh batches of our organic whole plant skincare for this weeks market at the Cutty Sark Centre Ayr.
I love watching the herbal tinctures swirling into the flower and herb steam distilled hydrosols.
Now I’ve just got to pack it all up.

The lavender in the garden is gorgeous at the moment, it smells devine and the bees are loving it. One of the most studied, and versatile flowers, lavender’s rich history as a medicinal, culinary, and spiritual plant dates back thousands of years.
As well as its incredible aromatic and sedative properties, lavender is yet another of nature’s wonders, boasting an array of skin healing benefits that make it a time-tested first aid treatment. With natural anti-bacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory benefits, it can calm irritation, promote wound healing and regeneration of the skin and scar tissue, inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria, as well as regulate and balance the production of sebum and support or skin microbiome.
It appears in a variety of forms in many Luibh preparations, including as an essential oil, as a steam distilled hydrosol in Wild Meadow Essence a herbal infusion in Clarity Serum, Tranquility Balm, Rescue Balm and Purity Cleanser.
