We transformed a 6month grown out balayage with deeper brunette base and pops of warm blonde for a soft multi-dimensional finish

Since opening in November, it’s been the craziest rush of excitement and emotions. Making this dump really made me appreciate how far I’ve come, Not only renovation wise but in my career as a whole. Quietly proud of this chapter and the work it took to get here. Nothing overnight, just consistency and belief. To anyone dreaming of opening a business: trust yourself and take the leap. You’ll figure it out as you go 🫶🏼

I love this wee gaff and everyone in it! Forever thankful for the friends and clients who supported me from day one 🥰

TikTok seen it first, sorry 🤍
We’ve had such a blast in our little unit, but it’s time to say goodbye and start fresh in our new home.
We’ve had so much fun making this space our own, and almost ready to share it with you. Keep an eye out for our official opening date—we can’t wait to see you in the chair🪴

ChatGPT saving lives again. Just take a picture of the ingredient list at the back of the product and ask “are any of these ingredients harmful to [hair type]” I.e dry damaged hair, or coloured hair. Thank me later with hugs n kisses 😋

What is it? 🧐
Traditional balayage is all about brightening, while reverse balayage focuses on adding darkness and dimension back to light hair.

This technique makes already highlighted hair appear lived-in and sun-kissed with rich depth and dimension 🤤

How much does it cost? 🫢
Although you aren’t lighting as much hair, the time and product used may still be as long as your average balayage appointment. Typically, I would only suggest a “big” appointment like this once or twice a year. In between I always suggest a root tint and tone to maintain your colour.

Why? 🤓
This helps make your highlights pop by adding contrast. Wether it’s subtle pieces or chunkier panels, it’s a great way for blondes who just want to go a little darker.

Benefits?
✔️ Looks more natural than foil highlights
✔️ Low-maintenance
✔️ Easy to grow out

Reverse balayage 🤭
Adding darker panels throughout to break up the previous blonde ❤️‍🔥
style on steroids & bombshell volumizer to finish of course!

Ultimately maintaining a healthy environment for your scalp helps promote strong hair growth 🙋🏽‍♀️

1. Wash your hair semi-regularly to remove dirt, oil, and product buildup. Choose a shampoo that suits your hair type and scalp condition.

2. Oiling: If you have a dry scalp, consider using a moisturizing shampoo or adding a lightweight conditioner that hydrates your scalp. You can also use natural oils like ginger, rosemary or castor oil to nourish the scalp.

3. Exfoliate: Just like your skin, your scalp can benefit from exfoliation. Use a gentle scalp scrub or a product designed to remove dead skin cells and buildup.

4. Avoid Hot Water: Washing your hair with very hot water can strip your scalp of natural oils. Use lukewarm water instead to help maintain moisture.

5. Be Gentle: When washing and drying your hair, be gentle to avoid irritation. Avoid aggressive scrubbing or rough towel drying.

6. Balanced Diet: A healthy diet rich in vitamins and minerals, especially those that promote hair and scalp health (like vitamins A, C, D, E, and omega-3 fatty acids), can contribute to a healthier scalp.

7. Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water helps keep your scalp hydrated from the inside out.

8. Limit Heat Styling: Excessive use of heat styling tools can lead to scalp irritation. Try to limit their use and always apply a heat protectant when you do.

9. Manage Stress: High stress levels can contribute to scalp issues. Practice relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation, or deep breathing exercises.

10. Consult a Professional: If you experience persistent scalp issues like itching, redness, or flaking, it might be a good idea to consult a trichologist for personalized advice.
