Meet our fab new physio Chi-Chian ⭐️
(pronounced Chee-Chen)

He is an MSK Physiotherapist with a unique international background in sports medicine and rehabilitation, spanning both the UK and Taiwan.

Qualifying with an MSc in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University, Chi-Chian also holds a BSc in Sports Medicine and specialised postgraduate training in Prosthetics and Orthotics.

This diverse clinical foundation includes working as an Athletic Trainer for the championship-level baseball team, bringing elite-tier sports therapy expertise directly to private practice. A keen cyclist himself he loves working with cyclists, racket sports and sailors. He firmly believes that a tailored, holistic, and lifestyle-compatible approach to rehabilitation is the key to helping clients smash their personal goals.

Chi-Chian’s path to physiotherapy was forged by personal experience. Having lived with a permanent brachial plexus injury since birth, navigating the complexities of a neurological condition from a young age sparked a lifelong fascination with human movement, adaptation, and physical rehabilitation. This firsthand insight into patient care defines Chi-Chian’s clinical philosophy: rehabilitation is not about limitations, but about unlocking potential.

This resilience ultimately led to a remarkable athletic career - he’s got silver and bronze medals competing at the Para World sailing championships!

He’s fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese!

….Did we mention he also bakes 🍞🥖👨‍🍳

Chi-Chian will official be part of the clinic from the 8th July, please give him a warm welcome ☺️

Foam Rolling 101: Calf & Ankle 🦵

Today, we’re showing you how to release tension in your calf and ankle using a foam roller.

A great tip is to flex and point your foot, then gently move your ankle side to side while rolling. This helps target the muscles from different angles and can help you get more out of the movement.

Remember to work at a comfortable pace and adjust the pressure to suit you.
