25 YEARS! 🥂✨

Today Scentsations turns 25 years old. I honestly can’t believe I’m writing those words!

It all started back in 2001, when my dad helped me decorate my salon and supported me in every way he possibly could. He helped with childcare, did my books, opened up, put the wax on, swept up outside, picked up litter, went to the bank every single week and was always there behind the scenes, helping me keep everything running and thriving.

Then when my mum retired, she stepped in too — helping with childcare and, perhaps most importantly 😂, washing what felt like an endless supply of towels!

They both gave so much of their time, love and support without ever asking for anything in return. (Well, mum asked for the odd facial and manicure 😂)
Looking back over the last 25 years, I know without a doubt that I could never have done it without them. ❤️

So while today is a celebration of 25 years of Scentsations, it’s also a huge thank you to my mum and dad.

And then there’s Maxine ❤️

Maxine joined us a little later, and I feel so lucky that our paths crossed. We’ve worked alongside each other through all the tough times and all the good times, supporting each other, laughing together, getting through the stressful days and celebrating the happy ones.

So many memories have been made over the years, and having someone beside me through all of it has meant more than I can say. Thank you, Maxine, for all the years, the laughs, the support and for being such a big part of this journey. ❤️

And more recently, we’ve welcomed Laura to our salon family. Laura joined us just over a year ago doing nails, and she has fitted in so beautifully. She’s such a lovely girl with an absolutely wicked sense of humour 😂❤️ — there’s never a dull moment when she’s around! PS) don’t ever leave your empire biscuit out when she’s around!

25 years of memories, friendships, laughter, hard work, challenges and so many wonderful clients.
Thank you to every single client who has supported us over the years. You are a huge part of this story too. ❤️
