The definition of grace, dignity and loyalty.

It feels like such a very long time since we had……. Welcome to summer holidays and had something to get really excited about.

The time to just ‘be’ …. be with one another with no commitments other than to laugh together, to feel excited together, to feel rested together, to get fed up with the sun cream together!

It’s time… we have arrived!
The simple joy of just watching all the family’s around us doing their family thing. It’s magic! So simple ! So normal! I love it!

I never like the phrase ‘single parent’
I am a parent, a mumma, we are a family ….. doing it all together.
But as I sit and watch the other ‘two parent’ family’s share the joy of watching their children be so happy, I sometimes find my self feeling envious of just that…. Sharing my kids joy with someone who loves them as much as I do.
Those wee moments that happen, the simple stuff that just makes you smile or sometimes laugh hugely with entitlement out loud!!

We are doing this together. Our family. back at it again ……
Us 3….. and I feel so privileged to be able to.
Maybe it the heat? But if feels a wee bit more special this holiday ….. ♥️

(Oh and you … yes you … sunny weather Testosterone…. I maybe just a little, miss sharing the warm heat with you too😉🤣)

13 kms on the bike with this girl today…. First longer ride for t***s and she held strong to the end!!! (think it was Encanto on the REPEAT playlist that drove her)😩

When you lose your mum, a space somewhere in you just never feels better. That wee area that you try and fill up with all the things she’s missed in your life over the years, just so it feels like she’s been right there with you.

Hold them all a wee second longer today ❤️

And that about sums up the past week.
Been a bit of a crazy time eh? Trying to understand this virus, trying to make our way through the uncertainty. Rough past week here with being ill and being scared from the symptoms I had, but these two !! Brave, smiling through their wee tears and kept their old mum going❤️❤️
I’m so lucky!! Napper of course will be closed for the next wee bit but when we are ready.... I’ll be waiting to greet you again for some usual great blethers!! And if anyone prefers me to come to them I’m more than happy to navigate my way through this together. Oh and a wee shout out to all you amazing thoughtful clients with offers of pre paying for some hair cuts..... really means a lot that I’m the middle of this trauma the kindness for folk keeps shinning through!
