1 Year Self-Employed! ✂️✨
On August 15th, I’m celebrating one year of being self-employed at Allan Whyte Hair and Beauty!
A massive thank you to all my amazing clients who’ve supported me as my journey evolved from renting a chair one day a week to taking this on full-time. I’m so grateful to have found such a happy home with Allan and the team.

A quick update:  My prices will now align with the main salon price list (still super competitive for the city centre!). To give your hair even more love, a Chromaplex treatment will now be built into the price of every colour service to keep your hair as healthy and strong as possible!

Adjusting my rates allows me to include high-quality extras like this while covering essential business costs—chair rent, stock, tools, insurance, payment processing fees, accounting, tax, and personal holiday/sick cover, while continuing to invest in my training and services.

This decision hasn't been made lightly, but it reflects a couple of key updates:
​Celebrating 1 Year Independent: Marking my one-year milestone at Allan Whyte and aligning my pricing with the salon’s standard menu to reflect my 20+ years of industry experience.

​Treatwell Fee Increases: As of 1st August, Treatwell has increased their new-client commission rates from 20% + VAT up to 35% + VAT. On a typical £100 new client booking, that’s £42 going straight to booking fees alone before accounting for the aforementioned costs.

​What this means for you:
Moving forward, my prices will simply match the standard salon price list at Allan Whyte. To help me avoid any processing fees, where possible if you could please book through me directly.
