Freya & Olivia chose to elope and I had the absolute honour of being part of one of the most intimate wedding days I’ve ever experienced.

The morning began with Olivia’s full glam before I popped over to Freya’s room for the softest, most natural makeup - just a little spot concealing and skin-perfecting.

Back with Olivia, I helped her into her dress before we FaceTimed her family so they could share such a special moment from afar 🥹

Before the ceremony, the couple had the sweetest first look in the hotel grounds, followed by their registrar meetings. Then it was time…

The ceremony was attended by just the two brides, two registrars, two photographers, myself as and a member of the hotel team as their legal witnesses.

I’ve worked at so many weddings over 11 years but this was my first elopement and I honestly wasn’t prepared for how emotional it would be. It was peaceful, private, deeply personal and such a privilege to witness. It reminded me that there is no one “right” way to get married. The most important thing is choosing the day that feels right for you!

Freya & Olivia, thank you for trusting me with such an important role in one of the biggest moments of your lives. I’ll never forget this day and I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together 🤍✨
