Hi… I hate doing these but apparently I have to be personable on here so hey šŸ’…

I’m Emma — I started doing nails at 16 because I knew school just wasn’t for me (mental health said absolutely not), and I needed to figure something out that didn’t make me miserable.

So I trained professionally, stuck with it, and somehow ended up opening my own studio… which still feels a bit mad to say out loud.

When I first started, I was way too focused on being perfect straight away and not enough on just being a beginner — which, shock, is actually part of the process. Since then, I’ve built my confidence properly and now I stand on one thing: if I’m doing your nails, they’re getting done properly. Standards are high, quality is non-negotiable.

BUT don’t think it’s all serious in my chair — it’s very much a mix of nails, oversharing, life updates, and me being slightly chaotic. I’ve been told I’m clumsy (true) but somehow your nails still come out good every time, so we move.

I’m very chatty, very ā€œaccidental therapistā€, and I will probably know your life story by your second appointment. If you’re quiet… I’ll respect it. But I also might accidentally make you talk. Sorry in advance.

Outside of nails, I’m either with my girlfriend, eating something I probably shouldn’t be spending money on, or crocheting like a granny. I started in January and now it’s my entire personality — you will be seeing whatever I’ve made, whether you asked or not.

My vibe is soft girl… but not too soft. A little bit unhinged, just to keep things interesting.

I’m not just trying to build a client list — I actually want girls who are fun, easy to talk to, and eventually feel more like friends than appointments.

So if you want good nails, good chats, and a bit of chaos thrown in… you’ll fit right in 🫶

Hi everyone, I want to speak openly and honestly about the last few months. Many of you will have noticed the last-minute cancellations, the slow replies, and the fact that I haven’t been in the salon as consistently as I should’ve been. The truth is, I’ve been going through an incredibly difficult period in my life, including being without a car, which made getting to the salon almost impossible.

I want to sincerely apologise to every single client who was affected. I know your time is valuable, and I know how frustrating it is when plans change suddenly or when communication isn’t where it should be. You put your trust in me, and I feel genuinely awful that I wasn’t able to show up the way you deserved. I’m truly sorry for the stress, inconvenience, and disappointment this caused.

These last few months have been some of the hardest I’ve ever faced — mentally and emotionally — but things are finally starting to look up. I’m regaining stability, routine, and motivation, and I’m ready to get back to giving you my absolute best.

To help prevent any chaos in the future, I’ve moved over to a brand new booking system. It’s clearer, more reliable, and will make the whole process so much smoother for both you and me. This is a really positive step forward, and I’m honestly excited for how much better it will make your experience.

I want to say a genuine thank you to everyone who has shown patience, understanding, and kindness during this time. Your support hasn’t gone unnoticed, and I’m so grateful to still have such amazing clients behind me.

With Christmas just around the corner, I’m really looking forward to creating some gorgeous festive sets and welcoming both new and familiar faces back into the salon.

Thank you all, truly, for sticking by me.

Love always, Emmaā¤ļø
