A little Blend hair transformation on my own natural hair 🤎
This was a proper colour-matching challenge because I haven’t dyed my hair in over 5 years, so this is my natural hair colour.
I’m naturally semi-grey/blonde through the top, warmer through the ends and even warmer underneath, so there was no way one shade was going to match me perfectly.
We mixed 3 different Blend colours to recreate all those natural tones, and the result is such a seamless blend.
This is exactly why I love Blend. You can mix the colours to create a completely bespoke match rather than trying to force one shade to work.
Hair techs, you NEED to be using this hair. And clients, you need to be asking your extensionist for it too! Most of my clients are already using Blend and absolutely love it.

I’ve been wearing Blend hair for a while now and honestly, I wouldn’t use anything else.
For this set I’ve mixed 200g of their NEW shades Almond, Cold Foam and Maple in 20” and they’ve blended together perfectly to create my colour.
All of my clients wear Blend too and they absolutely love the quality. The hair is so soft, full and silky, and I love how well it blends and keeps its quality with the right aftercare.
I think these new shades are going to be such a hit because you can mix them together to create so many different colour combinations.
Almond + Cold Foam + Maple 🤎
Just look at that blend!

It’s not always about having more hair… sometimes it’s about how your hair makes you FEEL.
My student applied this beautiful 2-row weave using 100g of 16” hair for her client, and the goal was simple… to make her feel confident again.
Her natural hair is very fine and limp, so she wanted that luxurious, fuller feeling without it looking overdone.
And honestly, it’s the little details that make the biggest difference.
The soft flicks at the ends give the hair that elegant, finished look. The kind of style that makes you feel like you’ve actually made an effort, even when you haven’t done anything complicated.
Because sometimes you don’t want hair that looks obviously different… you just want to look in the mirror and think “wow, I feel good.”
And this got me thinking…
Does your hair make you feel like that?
Do you have fine, limp hair that never seems to hold a style, lacks volume or just doesn’t give you that luxurious feeling you want?
Maybe it’s not that you need loads of hair… maybe you just need the right amount, placed in the right way, to completely change how you feel about your hair.
Would you love this kind of transformation?
You’ve probably seen a lot of the hair, the transformations, the training and the business side of Extended Lengths… but I thought it was about time you got to know the girl behind it all a little better. 🤍
I’m Chantelle, and hair extensions have been a huge part of my life for nearly 13 years now.
What started as something I never really expected to become a career has grown into my full-time business, my passion and something I genuinely still love doing all these years later.
But outside of hair, I’m just Chantelle.
I’m a mum of three, and my family is honestly the most important thing in the world to me. Everything I’ve built with my business has been about creating a career that works around my family and allows me to have that balance.
I’ve also been with my partner for 20 years, since we were just 15. We’ve basically grown up together, and I think that’s pretty special when I look back at how much life has changed since then.
I’m definitely a family girl. I love going abroad, spending time with the people I love, girls’ nights, making memories and having a good time.
I’m a spring and autumn girl through and through, I’m obsessed with a Hugo, and if there’s tequila involved on a girls’ night… there’s a very high chance I’m the one encouraging everyone else to have another!
I’m also a massive animal lover, which probably explains the fact that I once had 15 rabbits. Yes, you read that correctly… FIFTEEN.
I think one of the biggest things about me is that I’ve always been someone who genuinely cares about the people around me. Whether that’s my family, my clients, my students or the people I’ve met through my business, I love building real relationships and making people feel comfortable.
So although you might know me as the girl behind the hair, the courses and the Instagram page, there’s a whole lot more to me than extensions.
This is me. The mum, the business owner, the animal lover, the holiday lover, the tequila instigator and the girl who somehow ended up with 15 rabbits. 😂
Now I want to know something about YOU…
Tell me one random fact about yourself in the comments. 👇🏼
STOP SCROLLING… because this is one of the biggest myths I hear about becoming a hair extensionist.
You do NOT have to be a qualified hairdresser to do hair extensions.
Hair extensions are a specialist skill, and you can train specifically in extensions without doing a full hairdressing qualification.
But that doesn’t mean you can just learn how to attach hair and start working on clients.
You need proper training and you need to understand things like application, removal, maintenance, hair health, and the anatomy and physiology of the hair and scalp.
You also need to know how to cut and blend extensions properly, because anyone can attach hair… but knowing how to make it look completely natural and not like extensions is a skill in itself.
These are all things I go through on my courses, because I want my students leaving with the knowledge and confidence to work safely and create results they can actually be proud of.
So if you’ve always wanted to get into hair extensions but thought you had to become a hairdresser first… that’s simply not the case.
You can specialise in extensions and build your own business around them.
Ready to learn the skill properly? DM me ‘TRAINING’ and let’s get you started.
From wanting hair extensions with my friend… to building a business I’ve had for nearly 13 years.
I never planned for hair extensions to become my career.
Me and my friend wanted extensions, so we decided to have a go at applying each other’s. I absolutely loved doing it and realised I was actually pretty good at it too.
So I put myself on some hair extension courses, started out mobile and slowly built my way up to having my own home salon.
Fast forward nearly 13 years and I’m still here, still obsessed with what I do, but now I also get to train other women and help them build careers of their own.
The best part? I’ve built a business that works around my family and gives me the flexibility to have both.
It’s crazy to think it all started with two friends wanting their hair done.

So proud of this one.
Brooke completed her hair extensions training with me today in sewn in weaves, nano rings, and tapes and honestly she smashed it from start to finish.
She is already a qualified hairdresser but wanted to level up, add new skills, and create more income streams. That mindset is everything.
Watching her confidence grow throughout the day was exactly why I love teaching. Focused. Open to learning. Taking it seriously. And now officially extension qualified.
This is the message she sent me after and it honestly means the world. Moments like this remind me why I do what I do.
“I just wanted to say a huge huge huge thank you for today. I honestly loved every minute of it and feel so much more confident now.
You explained everything so clearly and made it such a relaxed, supportive environment, I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer. Truly grateful to have found you.
I can’t quite believe it to say I’m officially extension qualified! All thanks to you and I’m so excited to start offering it properly!
Thank you again for your time, patience and knowledge 🤍”
