What’s actually going on under the surface?

Fluid retention is temporary. It changes throughout the day, tends to feel heavier by evening, and eases with movement and rest.

Texture that comes from fat sitting within fibrous bands under the skin behaves differently. It stays fairly consistent day to day and needs a different approach to treat.
