I see a lot of women who’ve lost trust in permanent makeup after a bad experience. Shape that doesn’t suit their face, colour that’s healed too dark or too warm, one brow sitting higher than the other. It’s not vanity to care about that. Your brows frame everything.

Good brows start long before the needle. I map to your bone structure, match pigment to your undertone and plan for how it’ll look healed, not just on the day. What precedes that is even more important- your skin! It’s my canvas and it needs to be optimal condition for great results.

If you come with previous work sometimes the honest answer is “not yet.” If it needs lightening first, I’ll tell you, even if that means waiting. I have seen loads of ladies lately that I’ve offered to ‘lift and lighten’ the existing pigment so I can create something more suited to them but they haven’t wanted to do so. I have told them to wait at least a year before coming back to me - some 2-3 years!! One lady I told I’m not even sure they will be faded enough after 10 years!!

When you’re choosing an artist, ask to see healed results, ask how they choose colour, and ask what happens if it’s not right. You deserve someone who takes the time to understand all the variables that comes with PMU. Someone that has the education required to make the best decision for you.
