We might be having a little fun with this one, but what you do before and after your treatment really can matter 🫧

A few things I wish every client knew:

✨ Microneedling + a HIIT class afterwards?
Give your skin time to settle. Intense exercise can increase heat, sweating and redness when your skin is already sensitive following microneedling. Follow the aftercare you’re given before getting back to your usual workouts.

✨ Laser hair removal without shaving first?
Unless I’ve specifically advised you otherwise, the treatment area should usually be shaved before your laser appointment. We want the laser targeting the hair follicle beneath the skin rather than wasting energy on longer hair above the surface.

✨ Hydrafacial + sauna afterwards?
Save the sauna for another day! Your skin has just been deeply cleansed and exfoliated, so excessive heat and sweating immediately afterwards can leave it feeling more sensitive or irritated.

Your appointment doesn’t end when you leave the clinic…following the right pre- and post-treatment advice is part of getting the most from your treatment.
