Glossy colour appointments are having a moment… and for good reason ✨

A gloss sits beautifully between a semi and a permanent colour. Think of it as the luxury middle ground — adding richness, shine and tone without the harsh regrowth line that can come with traditional permanent colour.

Because it gradually fades and grows out softly over time, you don’t get that stark root line. Instead, the colour evolves naturally between appointments.

One of my favourite things about a gloss is that it doesn’t grab every strand in exactly the same way. The result is multi-dimensional, iridescent colour with movement, depth and natural-looking variation rather than a flat, block colour.

We’ve deliberately avoided refreshing Sam’s ends over the last few appointments as she loves her hair to feel lighter, softer and a little sun-kissed for spring. But this visit, the overall tone needed rebalancing. By deepening and toning down the existing warmth, we’ve created a richer, glossier brunette while still keeping that beautiful softness and dimension throughout.

And can we take a moment for that shine? ✨🤎
