Last week I was pranked - big time 😩🤣…..

Alfie was working in the shop on Friday and I was waiting for an urgent essential oil delivery that should have arrived two days earlier…..

When I got a notification to say a parcel had been delivered, I text Alfie asking if a parcel had arrived….he replied ‘yes’……I then text him to ask if it was essential oils and asked him to open the box and check…..he then sent me these two photos……😩😩😩

I genuinely thought my urgent order had been mixed up with someone else’s (although the tee shirt was pretty accurate) 🤣…..

I was just about to ring my supplier and complain about the mix up when Alfie text again saying…..’I’m pranking you….of course it’s essential oil’…..

Relieved I then had a little belly laughed 🤣🤣

This is me……

This is me…… (and my husband in the background) who started making candles as a hobby

This is me….. who sold her house, invested her money into growing her business and helping those who needed her help…..

This is me who in the last few months has moved her business premises, moved house, suffered two difficult losses and is still here…

This is me who…. Loves a Simple life…..loves nature…..loves her hubby and children and pets and family…..loves her business and all the loyal customers it attracts…..

BUT….. this is ALSO me……

Someone who doesn’t feel enough…

Someone who compares herself to others and wonders why she isn’t as far forward as them…..

Someone who can’t switch off from her business despite being on holiday…..

Someone who wonders if she will still be trading in 12 months time….

My reason for this post is that there are many facets….many considerations to being a business owner, let alone contributor to society - what you see is not always what actually “is” …….

I challenge others to put out a “This is me” post….???
