💕 Every now and then, there's an exception to every rule... 💕

Most of you know that I don't usually take on wedding hair anymore... but every so often, someone special comes along and I just can't say no. ❤️

A few weeks ago, the lovely Natalie got married in beautiful Rhodes, then asked if I'd style her hair (and her gorgeous mum Karen's hair too!) for their wedding reception back here in the UK.

How could I possibly refuse? 🥰 It was such a pleasure to be a tiny part of their celebrations, and I absolutely loved creating their hair for such a special occasion.

💕 A little reminder from me... 💕

When you sit in my chair, you never need to apologise for just being you. ❤️

Over the years I've realised that a hair appointment is about so much more than having your hair done. It's a chance to switch off, catch up, have a laugh, or simply take a bit of time for yourself.

So please never feel you have to say sorry for...

✨ Eating during your appointment – I'd much rather you were comfortable than hungry!

✨ Answering a work call, replying to emails or bringing your laptop – life doesn't stop just because you're having your hair done.

✨ Having a bad day, needing a rant or getting emotional – this salon has heard plenty of tears, laughter and everything in between.

✨ Wanting a quiet appointment – some days you feel chatty, other days you just want to relax. Both are absolutely fine.

✨ Laughing too loudly or being your bubbly self – I love seeing my clients happy!

✨ Bringing lots of inspiration photos – the more ideas you show me, the better I can create the look you're hoping for.

✨ Asking lots of questions – I want you to understand what I'm doing and why.

✨ Talking about the big things in life – sometimes we all just need someone to listen.

✨ Telling me something unexpected – honesty helps us build trust.

✨ Showing me photos of your children, grandchildren, pets or holidays – I genuinely love hearing what's been happening in your world.

✨ Asking me to show you how to style your hair again (and again!) – I'll happily go through it as many times as you need.

✨ Saying "not today" to photos – that's completely your choice, and I'll always respect it.

Our lovely salon team deserve a bit of pampering too! 💕 Today it was Lily's turn in the chair.

A few weeks ago we created a beautiful foiliage, and today we freshened up her money piece and brightened the Scandi hairline around the front to give it that gorgeous sun-kissed glow – just in time for her well-deserved holiday! ☀️✈️

As the salon was so busy today, Lily even did her own blow-dry... and didn't she do an amazing job! 👏
