Part Two - My nail journey so far… 🥹

My end goal was to always have my own studio, but I thought this was a 5/10 year goal and I was no where near ready for that.

I checked online every month for shops coming up in Ilkley and put the thought to the back of mind and carried on splitting my time between home and leeds.

UNTIL one day I was looking and found my current studio up for rent. It seemed to good to be true and I envisaged myself doing all my lovely clients nails in that shop. I went for a viewing and fell in love and knew I would do whatever it takes to get the shop.

I had to provide a 5 year business plan, all my figures for the next few years and had to write a letter to the landlord why I should get the shop over another business interested. I could not get the shop out my head and was already designing the salon. 2 weeks later I found out the landlord wanted me to have the shop and loved my business plan and what my business would bring to the community.

I scraped together every penny I had and upped my days and hours to get as much money possible to fund the shop. I had no plan or money to fall back on if this didn’t work, but i was ready to take the risk and knew I would make it work.

2 years later here I am, still making it work and with many more things in the pipeline that I cannot wait to show you and I have been working so so hard on all year. Its still a pinch me moment every morning coming into the studio🥹
