What a busy day for us!

Sadie and Nina are in Kingussie today providing treatments for 12 lovely ladies celebrating a hen party 🥂
Meanwhile, Naomi is in the treatment room and has been fully booked back-to-back all day, so unfortunately there’s no availability left with her today.

We’ve recently had a number of requests from family members to provide massage sessions for patients in wards at Raigmore Hospital, and realised this may be something other families would value too.

We offer gentle, relaxing massage treatments designed to provide comfort and promote relaxation.

Sessions available:
• 30 minutes
• 60 minutes

Treatment areas can include:
• Hands & arms
• Legs & feet
• Neck & shoulders

Most importantly, we are PVG checked and experienced in working within care and healthcare settings, providing gentle, relaxing treatments tailored to each individual.

We went along to see “Punch the Monkey” today. Unfortunately, on Sunday two men jumped into his enclosure, so he now has security guards and several fences around him for protection.
Poor wee thing 🐒

We teamed up with Nick from Mar ao Luar yesterday to provide a couples mobile massage at the beautiful Ness Walk Hotel.

A stunning setting, helping our clients unwind and switch off completely. ✨

Yesterday we arrived in Japan 👘🇯🇵

First stop was Hiroshima and now we are headed to Tokyo for our final destination.

While in Hiroshima we went to "Rabbit Island"

From 1929 to 1945, the island was a secret site for producing chemical weapons.

The Rabbits: Apparently they are descendants of test rabbits released after WWII,although it is more likely they were introduced later from a small, local population. There are no natural predators (cats and dogs are prohibited), the population has flourished into the hundreds.

They are possibly the cutest rabbits I have ever seen! Very friendly and come running to you for food 🥹

Another traditional Thai massage today, definitely different from an oil massage 😅

We stayed fully clothed, (they gave us loose clothes to wear) while they used their hands, elbows, knees and even their body weight to stretch and work through all the tension. Felt like a mix of deep tissue massage and yoga!

Very intense at times but honestly amazing afterwards 🙌

We arrived in Thailand yesterday evening, so what’s the first thing I want to do today?

Of course… get us some traditional Thai massages 🇹🇭

I actually arranged it last week while we were still in China to make sure we managed to get reservations.

Before our treatments even started, we had our feet washed and were given robes to change into, which instantly made the whole experience feel so relaxing and authentic.

Our 5-year-old enjoyed a relaxing foot and leg massage, while our 14-year-old went for a hot oil relaxation massage.

Traditional Thai massage is definitely a much deeper pressure treatment, so that one was just for us adults.
Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely love giving deep tissue massages… but receiving them? Totally different story, I’m an absolute wuss 😂

Feel absolutely incredible afterwards though, my body REALLY needed it.

But honestly, 10/10 for Namm Massage today!

Tomorrow we’re off somewhere very different for a little bit of luxury and relaxation… 👀✨

One thing I absolutely love when travelling is experiencing different massage techniques and wellness treatments from around the world. I’m always looking at the little details, the atmosphere, the treatments, and the overall experience to bring fresh inspiration and new ideas back to our own treatment room at home.
