🔥🕷️This is the SUNBURST CANDY SPIDER - The Spider With Candy-Like Armor! ✨😲
Found in tropical forests, the Sunburst Candy Spider is a striking arachnid known for its bright red body and unusual yellow, spiky-looking abdomen.
Its colorful appearance may help it blend into its surroundings while making this tiny hunter look almost like a piece of tropical candy.
Despite its cute and colorful appearance, it is an active predator that uses its spider skills to hunt small prey.
✨ Did you know: Its bright, sunburst-like colors make it one of the most eye-catching spiders you could ever encounter!

Among thousands of white-bellied, golden-necked penguins, one seemed dressed in mourning.
Yves Adams, a Belgian wildlife photographer, spotted it at St Andrews Bay, on the island of South Georgia, in the middle of the South Atlantic. A colleague had alerted him that there was a strange bird in the colony. When he finally saw it up close, he understood why: while every king penguin has a white belly and yellow neck feathers, this one was black from head to toe.
There’s a name for the condition: melanism. It’s a pigmentation abnormality associated with an overproduction of melanin, the pigment responsible for dark coloring. According to IFLScience, partial melanism in penguins may occur in 1 in every 250,000 individuals, and a completely black version would be even rarer. Ornithologist Allan Baker of the University of Toronto has explained that melanistic birds usually retain at least a few white patches.
Up close, Adams said, the black feathers have a metallic green sheen on the neck and belly. And most striking of all: the rest of the colony accepted it as completely normal, with no rejection and no difference in size.
It’s the second unusual penguin to come into view through Adams’s lens: he had already photographed a yellow one. For him, seeing a black one was like finding a ghost with feathers.
