The LA Beauty Lab team is expanding with apprentice number 2 🥹 another baby boy due early January 🤭 pray for me 🩵☁️

To avoid the questions in salon regarding maternity leave…
1. I plan to work as far into the end of the year as I possibly can but if I’m being totally realistic I can see my maternity leave ending at the end of November considering I had to stop working around the 33 week mark with Artie because of aches and pains! Don’t worry, you will get plenty of notice so that you can book your Christmas appointments elsewhere in advance.
2. For all of your lash needs, as always Amy will be your girl, using LA Beauty Lab products and will be clued up with all of your lash map info so you can have the same styles you’re used to getting from me.
3. As for brows and nails, I will write up a post with my top recommendations nearer the time as Amy only does lashes.
4. Orders can still be placed, just like when I went travelling, my helpful family can help run my little product shop for me if I’m not around 😉
5. My return to work will be completely reliant on how I am coping, what kind of baby I get (keep your fingers crossed for me that we get a sleeper this time) and how much I can make the governments disgustingly small maternity pay for the self employed stretch 😂 poor Kane is going to have fun with those increased house bills coming his way
6. Shannon and I will be looking for someone to cover for me at Mesmerising Aesthetics so if you are interested please do get in touch

A bit of healthy realness of every thing I’ve ever had done since I started going for advanced beauty treatments in 2017 for National Self-Care day!

I am so black and white when it comes to treatments, there’s no hiding it because I did in-fact NOT wake up like this 🤭 swipe for the before! You won’t actually see a makeup-less pic until slide 7 (it’s terrible I literally did not myself get in photos without makeup on but my sister sneaked that one on Snapchat which I imagine I was fuming about), in the last pics you’ll see I’ve always been a glamour puss 🐈‍⬛ DESTINED for this industry ✨✨✨

What does self-care look like to you? and how do you manage self control when it comes to treating yourself? I like to keep tabs on how much everything costs for expensive treatments. I am currently sitting at just under 25k, spent on advanced treatments, since 2017 (including my breast surgery) so that’s about 3k a year since I started. I’m okay with that, is that bad or no? 🤷🏼‍♀️🥹

I’m proud of how far I’ve come and can confidently say that most of this money was spent in a short period of time when I had low self esteem and thought my looks were way more important than what they really are. That’s maturity and growth 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 from the girl that wouldn’t go to the corner shop without makeup on to the nearly 30 year old woman who isn’t fussed to even bring a makeup bag on holiday 💅🏽

🌴With naturally short lashes as we can achieve maximum elevation making them appear much longer
🌴Naturally blessed long lash girls that like lashes with major wow factor (pre-warning they may touch your brows 🤭)
🌴Fine lashes that benefit from the gentle formulation
🌴Regular lash lift clients who just want to maintain lash health whilst achieving more dramatic results
🌴Hooded, monolid or downturned eyes that would benefit from looking more open
Having always used you’re safe in my hands regardless of what technique we use as Nouveau have the best ingredients on the market with patented technology. I personally like to blend techniques from both methods to achieve a bespoke treatment for my clients but if you know exactly what you want then you just let me know queens!
I just knew I had to jump straight on the bandwagon as soon as Nouveau launched a Korean range. My faith is in them ALWAYS!
So in my professional opinion, who isn’t the best candidate for common Korean lash lifting techniques?
❌Deep set eyes and large protruding brow bones - lashes can sit further back and almost hide under your brow bone giving a curled back effect - not the cute kind - the primary school joke kind - iykyk 🤭 (however this isn’t a complete no no, I would just use a more rounded shield compared to other clients)
❌Very round, prominent or protruding eyes - a vertical lift could exaggerate open eyes too much so traditional LVL would be my go to in this case
