🌿 Bioenergetic Meridian Massage – BEM

BEM is a unique treatment combining meridian therapy, hands-on massage techniques and gentle microcurrent stimulation delivered through special conductive silver-thread gloves.

Unlike a traditional massage that mainly focuses on the muscles, BEM is designed to support:

• circulation
• fascia and muscle activation
• lymphatic flow
• nervous system regulation
• the body’s natural bioelectrical communication

Many clients are surprised that such a gentle treatment can create such a noticeable feeling of release throughout the body.

After a session, clients often say they feel:

✨ lighter
✨ looser
✨ deeply relaxed
✨ as though their body has been “reset”

During the treatment, some areas may tingle or respond more strongly than others. This can often happen in places where the body is holding more tension or stress.

You can think of it as working with points and meridians in a way similar to acupuncture — but without needles.

Therapeutic massage or relaxation massage? There is a real difference 😊

Recently, I saw a lady who had been experiencing significant pain for many months, possibly even years. She had visited several massage therapists before and came to me through a recommendation from someone who had responded very well to my treatments.

After a detailed consultation, I explained what I planned to work on and why. Her main concerns were her back and shoulders, but she also mentioned pain in her legs and asked me to include them. Of course, I agreed, but I explained that this would leave less time to work properly on the areas causing her the most trouble.

Towards the end of the session, she also requested a foot massage and asked me to pull her toes. 😊 Unfortunately, I could sense some disappointment afterwards because I had not spent time massaging her hands as well.

This is why I would like to explain something important:
Relaxation massage and therapeutic massage have different purposes.

During a relaxation massage, we can focus on comfort, rest and a pleasant full-body experience, including the hands, feet and toes. I am always happy to provide this type of treatment. 🌿

However, when you book because you are experiencing a specific problem or ongoing discomfort, I need enough time to focus on the main areas involved.

Dividing one hour between the back, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, feet and several additional requests means that the minutes disappear very quickly—and none of those areas receives enough focused attention.

Your feedback during the treatment is always important. Please tell me how the pressure feels, where you experience discomfort and how your body is responding. However, the choice of techniques, the order of treatment and the amount of time spent on each area should also be guided by the therapist you have chosen to help you.

It is a little like visiting a mechanic. I can explain what is wrong with the car and describe the noises it is making—but I would not insist that the mechanic use a different oil, preferably rose-scented because it smells nicer! 😂

One more important point: when discomfort has developed over many months or years, it is unrealistic to expect me to become a magician and make everything disappear during one appointment. The body often needs time, consistency and an appropriate treatment plan.

After all, when medication is prescribed, it is usually taken regularly—not just once with the expectation that everything will immediately be resolved.

So, before booking, please consider what you are looking for: relaxation or focused therapeutic work. Both are valuable, but they are not the same treatment.

Wishing you good health and sending hugs,
Kamila 🌸

A small but important reminder 💛

I would like to gently remind everyone of a few things that help me organise appointments smoothly and create a calm, comfortable experience for every person who visits me.

📧 Please check the address before your appointment

The full address is always included in your booking confirmation email. This is why it is very important to provide the correct email address and phone number when making a booking.

Of course, anyone can forget or become unsure of the address — that is completely understandable. Please simply check your confirmation email before travelling.

I am mentioning this because clients are increasingly arriving at, or knocking on, my neighbours’ doors. Sometimes I begin work as early as 7:00 am, including on Saturdays, which can unfortunately mean that my neighbours are disturbed or woken up.

Please respect their privacy. None of us would enjoy regularly having strangers arrive at our home.

🚗 Parking

There are parking bays along the street, and there is usually plenty of space available.
Please do not park across anyone’s driveway or block access to a neighbour’s property. My neighbours also need to be able to enter and leave their homes freely.

It is very important to me to maintain a good relationship with the people living around me, so I truly appreciate everyone taking care when choosing where to park.

⏰ Please arrive at your appointment time

I always try to organise appointments so that nobody has to wait. On the rare occasion that I am running late, I will send a message to let you know.

At the same time, I need short breaks between massages to clean and prepare the treatment room, drink some water, eat, use the bathroom and take a moment to reset before welcoming the next person.

During my work, I listen to many personal stories and give each client my full attention. Sometimes I simply need a few quiet minutes to clear my mind, recharge and be fully present for the next appointment.

As explained in the booking email, I do not have a waiting room.
If you arrive early, please send me a message. When I am ready, I will happily invite you inside before your appointment time. However, if I do not reply, it means that I am still preparing or using my break.

Even “just five minutes” can be very valuable to me, especially when I am working from morning until evening. Looking after myself and respecting my own working space allows me to give every client the care, energy and attention they deserve.

📅 Changing or cancelling an appointment
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the £15 deposit being retained.

Thank you for respecting my time, my neighbours and the simple arrangements that help everything run smoothly. Your understanding allows me to create a peaceful, welcoming and professional space for everyone 💛

And now I am curious… 😄
Is your break at work actually a break, or is that exactly when someone says, “It will only take five minutes”? 😂☕

Sending hugs,
Kamila 🌸

🌡️ Hot weather and air conditioning – a perfect combination… until your neck disagrees. 😅

Every summer I see more clients coming in with the same complaint:

😖 “I woke up and couldn’t turn my head.”
😖 “My neck feels locked.”
😖 “My lower back suddenly started hurting.”

One of the most common reasons? Direct exposure to cold air from air conditioning, fans, or strong drafts when your body is already overheated.

When warm muscles are suddenly cooled down, they can tighten up quickly, leading to stiffness, discomfort, and restricted movement.

A few simple tips:
✅ Avoid directing cold air straight at your neck, shoulders, or lower back.
✅ Don’t sit in a strong draft for long periods.
✅ Let your body cool down gradually.

If the summer heat has left you with a stiff neck or aching back, I’m here to help. 🌿

Did you know that if you have a health plan through work, you may be able to claim money back for your massage? 👀

Many workplace health plans (Health Cash Plans) cover treatments with different specialists, including massage therapy.

At my practice, you can request an invoice for insurance purposes — I am a fully qualified and FHT registered massage therapist, and treatments are provided under a registered business.

If you’re not sure how it works or whether you’re eligible, feel free to message me — I’m here to help 💬

Best wishes
Kamila 🌸
