A little insight into something I’m asked about almost every week.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a big bridal party - they bring so much energy and I love them. But a bigger morning needs a bigger team if we want to keep the experience calm, unrushed and enjoyable for everyone.

It’s never about how many faces I can fit in. If I had to, I could. But that defeats the purpose of what I value when I’m with you on your wedding morning. I don’t plan wedding mornings around how much I can fit in; instead, I plan them around how I want my bride to feel 💫

I wonder what we’d tell them if we could?

That they’re going to change their minds about who they are and what they want more times than they can imagine. That there will be four little girls between them one day and they’ll both still love wearing animal print (just styled better I hope 🤣)

That they’ll watch each other become mama’s, build careers, change direction, start again, get things very right and occasionally get them very wrong.

That there will be seasons where one needs the other more. Times where life looks completely different for each of them and somehow they’ll always find their way back to sitting beside each other talking about absolutely everything and anything.

We’ve celebrated some of the best days of our lives together and held each other through some of the ones we’d rather forget. We’ve known so many different versions of each other now and I think there’s something really special about having someone in your life who remembers all the ones that came before this one.

I actually don’t think I’d tell those two girls very much at all. Id just tell them to keep choosing each other, that you’re going to need her and one day you’ll look across at her and realise you somehow got to grow up together 🤎
