✨ Skin Tag Removal – It’s Never Just About the Skin ✨

Back in March, this lovely client came to me feeling incredibly self-conscious about her skin tags. Together we removed 117 in one appointment.

At the end of that treatment, she quietly admitted she had more… but she’d been too embarrassed to show me the rest.

This week she came back.

Not because the first treatment didn’t work, but because she’d built enough confidence and trust to let me help her finish the journey. We removed the final 114 skin tags.

Just imagine the difference that’s going to make—not only for her upcoming holiday, but every single day afterwards. Wearing the clothes she wants, looking in the mirror without focusing on them, and simply feeling more comfortable in her own skin. 🥹

Moments like these remind me why I love what I do.

This client had lived with this 6mm skin tag for approximately 20 years before deciding it was time to have it removed.

➡️ Before: A long-standing skin tag that wasn’t going to disappear on its own.
➡️ After: Healing beautifully with just a small pink mark, which will continue to fade and return to natural skin tone.

Skin tags are benign growths and, despite what you may see online, they don’t fall off or disappear on their own. If they’re catching on clothing, affecting your confidence, or simply bothering you, they can be safely removed.

A little reintroduction… 👋🤍

It’s been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself, so for everyone who’s joined me recently… hi, I’m Victoria, the face behind Flutter Aesthetics.

I’ve been working from Base Business Space on Chamberlain Road since May, where I’ve created a calm, private space for my clients to relax while receiving safe, evidence-based treatments.

This photo is actually me doing my own chemical peel! I always believe in looking after my own skin too. I would never recommend or offer a treatment that I wouldn’t happily have myself.

My approach has always been about enhancing, not changing. Whether it’s skincare, lashes, brows or aesthetics, my goal is for you to leave looking like you… just fresher, healthier and a little more confident.

I’m probably not the loudest on social media, but behind the scenes I’m always learning, investing in further education and refining my skills to give my clients the best possible care.

🦋 A little update for anyone taking weight loss injections and considering aesthetic treatments.

Medications such as Mounjaro®, Wegovy®, Ozempic® and Zepbound® are becoming much more common, and as new research emerges, it’s important that I keep my clients informed.

There have been a small number of reports of people developing swelling, redness, tenderness or small lumps in areas where they previously had dermal filler or some hyaluronic acid skin boosters after starting one of these medications.

The important part? This appears to be very rare, and researchers are still investigating exactly why it happens. At the moment, there’s no evidence to suggest these medications “damage” filler or that you can’t have aesthetic treatments if you’re taking them.

What this does mean is that I now need to know if you’re taking (or planning to start) one of these medications so I can assess your suitability, give you the most up-to-date advice and continue to put your safety first.

✨ If you’ve had filler in the past and notice any unexpected swelling, redness or tenderness after starting one of these medications, please get in touch with me as soon as possible so I can advise you.

As always, your safety comes before everything else. As new research becomes available, I’ll continue to update my consultation process and treatment advice to make sure you’re receiving the safest, evidence-based care possible. 🤍

Over the past year we’ve alternated between Brow Lamination and Brow Wax & Tint, allowing the brows to stay healthy while gradually refining their shape, fullness and symmetry.

There was no rush to achieve perfection. Instead, we worked with the natural brow, making small adjustments at each appointment.

It’s not always about dramatic change… 🤍

These nasolabial lines were very subtle, and many people may not have noticed them.

But my client did.

She found they became more noticeable when wearing makeup, with product settling into the crease and drawing attention to an area she felt self-conscious about.

The aim wasn’t to erase every natural line or change her appearance—it was simply to soften the area while maintaining natural facial movement and expression.
