After months of studying, assignments, prescribing logs, exams, and late nights and more coffee than I care to admit… I can finally say:

🎓 I HAVE PASSED MY INDEPENDENT PRESCRIBING COURSE! 💉🩺

This has definitely challenged me, pushed me out of my comfort zone and tested me in ways I didn’t expect — but I’m so proud of myself for sticking with it.

I’m officially taking the next step in my nursing career, with new knowledge, new skills and even more confidence in providing safe, evidence-based care. 🤍

A huge thank you to everyone who supported me, listened to me stress, encouraged me and believed in me along the way.

One chapter finished… and another very exciting one begins! 🥂✨

✨ DERMAL FILLER AFTERCARE ✨

Had your filler treatment? Here’s how to look after your skin while everything settles:

💧 Keep hydrated — drink plenty of water.

🏋️‍♀️ Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours to help minimise swelling.

🍷 Avoid alcohol for 24 hours as it can increase bruising and swelling.

💆‍♀️ Don’t massage or press the treated area unless specifically advised by your practitioner.

🔥 Avoid excessive heat — no saunas, hot tubs or very hot showers for 24–48 hours.

💄 Be gentle with your skin and avoid unnecessary touching of the treated area.

💊 Avoid anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen unless medically necessary, as it can increase bruising.

💗 Some swelling, tenderness and bruising can be completely normal after filler and usually settles over the following days.

📸 Results continue to settle as swelling reduces, so don’t judge your final result immediately!
