Good aftercare helps support a smoother healing process. Keep it simple: wash your hands, use sterile saline, avoid twisting the jewellery and protect the area from pressure or snagging.

For oral piercings, maintain good oral hygiene, eat carefully and use an alcohol-free mouth rinse.
