A recent peer-reviewed international study, published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal Open Forum (April 2026), surveyed more than 15,000 adults across 15 countries to better understand why people choose aesthetic treatments.

Its findings resonated with us.

Most people weren’t looking to become someone different. They wanted their outward appearance to better reflect how they feel inside, with natural-looking results remaining the overwhelming preference.

This reflects the philosophy that has always guided SKINBOOST.

Our consultations are never simply about treating lines or restoring volume. MEET THE TEAM - With over 11 years at SKINBOOST, Allison is our Clinical Manager and is often the first friendly face you’ll meet when you visit the clinic.

Her career has been wonderfully diverse, from training in nursing and supporting vulnerable people within the community, to working as an air stewardess and later as a high street bank manager. This unique background has given her exceptional organisational skills, a genuine passion for people, and an unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding client care.

After discovering Caroline and Clare while researching aesthetic treatments herself, Allison joined the team and has never looked back. She continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing education and is passionate about guiding clients through every stage of their aesthetic journey, ensuring they feel informed, supported and completely at ease.
