Our Monday hair and beauty learners are beginning to dip their toe into the world of bridal/ formal hair up 👩‍🦱 💃

We were delighted to welcome Mike Ross to Life Skills Hub Next Steps and Precision Training Hub for a tour of the facilities yesterday afternoon.

Mike Ross is the Leader of Hull City Council, a long-serving councillor representing the Liberal Democrats, and a dedicated advocate for Hull and East Yorkshire.

A big thank you to Mike for coming to visit us in what must be a very busy schedule, it was great to meet you.

Working hard to perfect the French plait!

Plaiting and braiding requires great attention to detail, carefully managing each section of hair while maintaining tension to create a neat French plait.

Our learners are absolutely smashing their plaiting and twisting unit 👏🏻

They are fully insurable, held at our fully self-contained salon which has a calm and welcoming environment, adult courses can be held during the day, weekends or evening (subject to availability)

On Friday we welcomed our new cohort of learners onto our Level 1 Introduction to hair and beauty sector course.

During Fridays induction session learners gained an introduction to a range of plaiting hair techniques and dry setting hair using rollers.

Massive well done to all our learners and we are excited to how they progress through their course 💇‍♀️
