Could your clinic offer more support to women navigating midlife?
Women in their 40s and 50s are often already coming into aesthetic and skin clinics noticing that something has changed.
Their skin may feel different. Their confidence may have shifted. They may be dealing with poor sleep, changing energy, brain fog, perimenopause symptoms or simply feeling less like themselves.
But those conversations often extend far beyond a treatment room.
I’m Genine Williams, and through Beauty for Ashes I work with women around perimenopause, menopause, skin confidence, healthy ageing and wider midlife wellbeing.
I’m currently welcoming collaborations with medical aesthetic clinics, skin clinics and women’s wellness practices across the UK.
I can contribute through speaking engagements, panel discussions, podcast or interview appearances, client education evenings, menopause and midlife workshops, and workplace or team wellbeing sessions.
The aim is not to turn aesthetics clinics into menopause clinics.
It is to create informed, appropriate conversations that help women understand the wider changes they may be experiencing and know when further support may be useful.
If your clinic would like to host an educational evening, add a menopause-focused workshop to your calendar, invite a guest speaker or create useful podcast/video content for your audience, I’d love to talk.

Supporting women through midlife is about more than sharing information - it is about creating space for real conversation, reflection and change.
I recently began delivering the Step Into Strong™ programme with GO Woman Alliance, supporting women over six weeks to focus on themselves, build confidence, recognise their strengths and take positive steps forward 💛
For me, this is exactly why I do this work.
Perimenopause, menopause and midlife can affect confidence, identity, wellbeing, relationships and the way women show up in their personal and professional lives.
Sometimes women need information.
Sometimes they need practical tools.
And sometimes they simply need a safe space where they can speak openly, ask questions and feel heard.
🎤 If you are organising an event, podcast, workplace session or women’s programme and would like to invite me to contribute, get in touch - I’d love to hear from you!

Still getting everything done, but feeling very different underneath it all?
You may still be working.
Still meeting deadlines.
Still supporting everyone around you.
Still looking completely capable from the outside.
But perhaps:
• your concentration has changed
• your sleep is affecting your day
• your energy is less predictable
• you feel more emotionally stretched
• your confidence does not feel quite the same
• you keep wondering why things that once felt manageable now require so much effort

Midlife can bring questions you never expected to be asking:
Why has my skin suddenly changed?
Could this be perimenopause?
Why am I sleeping differently, feeling more tired or struggling with confidence?
What support is actually appropriate for me?
The Midlife Journal by Beauty for Ashes was created to help women navigate those questions with practical, nurse-led information.
Inside, Genine Williams explores topics including perimenopause and menopause, midlife skin, healthy ageing, confidence and wellbeing, and the realities of navigating midlife at work.
No pressure. No assumption that every change is caused by menopause. Just useful information to help you recognise patterns, understand your options and make more informed decisions about your next step.

Something a little more personal is coming in early December…
Today I recorded a podcast conversation with Dominique Flower Ribeiro, founder of Come Tribe With Me, and this one is particularly close to my heart.
We spoke about my healing journey.
Much of my work through Beauty for Ashes is about supporting women through periods of change, helping them reconnect with themselves, rebuild confidence and move forward with greater clarity.
But behind that work is my own journey too.
Today gave me an opportunity to reflect on that journey, the experiences that have shaped me, and what healing and moving forward have come to mean in my own life.
I’m grateful to Dominique for creating the space for such an open conversation.
The episode is due to be released at the beginning of December, and I’ll share the details as soon as it goes live.
For now, here is a little behind-the-scenes glimpse from our recording session. 🎙️
Follow Beauty for Ashes so you don’t miss the episode when it is released!
And I’d love to ask you:
What does “healing” mean to you at this stage of your life?
