What is a Lash Lift?

A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that gently lifts and curls your natural eyelashes, creating the appearance of longer, more open and defined lashes — without extensions.

1. Consultation
Your lashes and eye area are assessed, and any relevant allergies, sensitivities or contraindications are discussed.

2. Cleanse & prepare
The eye area is thoroughly cleansed to remove makeup, oils and residue.

3. Lash shield placement
A suitable silicone shield is carefully positioned on the eyelid. Your natural lashes are gently lifted onto the shield to create your chosen curl.

4. Lifting solution
A professional lifting solution is applied to reshape the natural lashes.

5. Setting solution
A setting solution is applied to help lock the lashes into their new lifted shape.

6. Tint — if included
A lash tint can be applied to give the lashes a darker, more defined appearance.

7. Nourish & finish
The lashes are cleansed and a nourishing treatment is applied, leaving them looking beautifully lifted and glossy. ✨

⚠️ Before Your Appointment

A patch test is required according to the product manufacturer’s and salon’s requirements, particularly where tint or other chemical products are being used.

For the first 24 hours:

* Keep lashes dry
* Avoid steam, saunas and swimming
* Avoid rubbing or touching the lashes
* Avoid mascara and eye makeup
* Avoid oily products around the eyes
* Try not to sleep directly on your lashes

After the initial period, treat your lashes gently and keep them conditioned with suitable lash-care products.

• Strong exfoliating products for several days beforehand
• Retinol/retinoid products immediately before treatment
• Waxing or other aggressive facial hair removal shortly before treatment

For the first 24–48 hours:

• Avoid excessive heat, steam and saunas
• Avoid swimming where possible
• Avoid strenuous exercise immediately after treatment
• Avoid harsh scrubs and exfoliating products
• Avoid retinol/retinoids and strong active ingredients until your skin has settled
• Keep your skin hydrated with gentle skincare
• Avoid picking or touching the treated area unnecessarily
• Wear SPF 30–50 every day and limit direct sun exposure

Dermaplaning does not make facial hair grow back thicker or darker. The hair grows back according to its natural characteristics.

A consultation will be carried out before treatment to make sure dermaplaning is suitable for your skin.

BUILDER GEL ADVICE FOR THOSE ASKING 😁

Every 2–3 weeks is ideal for most people. Here’s a quick guide:

2 weeks — if your nails grow fast or you want to maintain a neat look with minimal lifting.

3 weeks — the sweet spot for most people. Growth is visible but manageable, and the product is still intact.

4 weeks max — pushing it. By this point there’s usually noticeable lifting, which can trap moisture and lead to bacterial or fungal issues.

The main signs it’s time to redo them: visible regrowth gap, lifting at the cuticle or edges, or any cracking/chipping of the gel.
