☀️ HEATWAVE + SPRAY TAN? READ THIS FIRST ☀️

With the temperatures rising, there are a few extra things to keep in mind before your spray tan appointment to ensure you get the best possible results 🤎

❌ Avoid exercising or anything that causes excessive sweating before your appointment.
❌ Don't apply moisturiser, deodorant, perfume or makeup on the day of your tan.
❌ Avoid arriving overheated from sitting in direct sun or rushing to your appointment.
❌ Don't wear tight clothing, leggings, sports bras or socks immediately after your tan.
❌ Avoid swimming, hot tubs, saunas or long hot showers while your tan is developing.

✅ Stay cool and hydrated.
✅ Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment.
✅ If you're feeling particularly warm, try to cool down before your session begins.

☀️🔥If you’ve recently got a bit of sunburn please avoid scheduling a spray tan appointment.

❌ Spray tanning over a fresh sunburn 🔥can cause uneven colour and patchiness, dark spots where skin is damaged, faster fading, increased irritation, or stinging from the tanning solution😖
If your skin is still red, hot, itchy, peeling, or sensitive to touch,
🫷then it’s too soon.
It’s best to wait until the sunburn is fully healed before getting a spray tan. For most people, that’s usually-
☀️Mild redness: about 5–7 days
☀️Peeling or tender skin: often 1–2 weeks
☀️Blistering sunburn: wait until completely healed, sometimes longer

The heat doesn't mean you can't achieve a gorgeous glow—it just means taking a little extra care during the developing period ✨

💬 Here are a couple of questions I get asked on a regular basis:

“How long does a spray tan last?”
Usually 5–7 days, depending on your skin, prep, and aftercare. Moisturising daily helps it last longer ✨

“When should I book my tan before an event?”
1–2 days before is perfect — it gives the colour time to settle and look its best 🤎

“Can I shower the same day?”
Yes — but only after your development time. Your first rinse should be quick, lukewarm, and soap‑free 🚿

“Will it stain my sheets?”
The guide colour might transfer before your first rinse, but it washes out of most fabrics easily 🛏️✨
