Hi guys!

Just a little information post really.

Some of you, my regulars mainly, will be aware that I have been having on going issues with my Hip and extreme pain etc.

Well Today I have just received the news that they have fast tracked me for a cancellation slot for surgery for a full replacement on the 19th of November. I’m so ready to finally be out of pain.

Work wise, it does mean that I will be off for 6 weeks. So my final working day will be November 17th, then I will be back at work on the first Monday in January.

I understand that this is a long time for me to be off of work but due to the type of replacement my surgeon has recommended, I need to be extremely careful in the first year and allow my implant to bond with my bone fully. I will be unable to drive for 6 weeks and bend my legs last 90 degrees etc so I feel it’s safest to do what I am told for once and follow the surgeons recommendations!

So if anyone is wanting work before Xmas please don’t leave it until last minute because I’m sure that the last few weeks of work will be extremely busy!
