You’ve probably noticed I’ve been a little quiet on my socials lately... that’s because I’ve been so busy behind the chair! ✂️🤎

This lovely lady was fed up with years of box dye leaving her hair looking almost black and lacking dimension.

We softened things up with an Illumina root colour (5/ & 6/19) to create a rich brunette that’s still deep and glossy, but much softer than a traditional box dye. I then highlighted throughout to gently lift away that built-up colour and added a deeper brunette tone for a beautifully blended, natural finish.

If you’re stuck in the box dye cycle and feel your hair is always ending up too dark, there are options! 🤍

Hey everyone, just wanted to give you a heads up that the main road at the side of my house is fully closed from 8am–3pm, then local access only until 6pm.

I’ve just got back from dropping the girls off and couldn’t even drive into my street 😅

If you’re coming from The Springs side, it’ll probably be easier to follow the diversions through Crossgates. You can turn into Fleet Street and park on the estate there — it’s literally only a 1 minute walk back to my street.

From Box Black ➡️ Soft Beige Blonde in 2 Sessions ✨

This transformation was all about patience, care, and protecting the integrity of the hair 🤍

We started by breaking down years of box dye build-up using Wella Professionals Colour Renew, followed by at-home prep with Wella Professionals Aqua Pure Clarifying Shampoo to help gently lift excess pigment.

Session 1:
Full head back-to-back foils to begin the lightening journey, finished with a toner to soften and even out warmth.

6 weeks later — a refresh toner + intensive repair treatment to maintain condition and prep for the next lift.

Session 2:
Another full head of back-to-back foils to push the lift further, followed by a custom beige toner for that soft, creamy finish ✨

Home care is key 🔑
We kept the hair strong and healthy with Wella Professionals Fusion shampoo, conditioner & mask between appointments.
