The years I should have spent setting goals, working towards them and thriving, I spent in survival mode.

Throughout my teens I never really planned for a future and if I’m going to be honest… I didn’t believe I’d make it to 30, so what was the point in trying to change my path?!

Milia extraction (my personal FAVE) 😍✨

Milia is veryyyy common - especially if you have a heavy skincare routine. You may ask yourself WHY, I’m following all the rules, so what is going on?

The answer is a build up of trapped keratin underneath the skins surface. Unfortunately they are quite difficult to avoid if you are prone to getting them but a gentle exfoliation once a week can help to avoid a build up of milia.

They usually present themselves around the eyes & chin/jaw area as little hard white bumps. They are not filled with oil or puss so won’t pop like a usual spot, so unless you have them professionally extracted you may end up scarring yourself and infecting the area.

It is so so important that you fight the urge to try and remove milia yourself ✋🏼
