At the time, it didn’t make sense to a lot of people.
I’d spent years building my beauty business. I loved my clients, I loved teaching, and from the outside, it looked like I’d built exactly what I wanted.
But after having my second child, something shifted.
I realised I’d built another job.
If I wasn’t there, the business stopped.
My diary was full, but my time wasn’t my own.
And I remember asking myself one question:
If this is success… why doesn’t it feel like freedom?
That question changed everything.
It led me to online education.
To courses.
To group programmes.
To mentoring.
Not because they were the easiest way to make money.
Because they gave me something I’d been searching for all along.
Choice.
People often ask me what success means now.
And my answer is probably different to what they expect.
Success isn’t a number in my bank account.
Success is waking up excited for the day ahead.
Success is building a business that fits around my life—not forcing my life to fit around my business.
Success is peace.
Peace knowing my business supports my family.
Peace knowing I don’t have to sacrifice the things that matter most.
Peace knowing I’m building something that’s aligned with the life I actually want to live.
That’s why I don’t just teach women how to grow a business.
I help them build one that creates freedom.
Because I believe the goal isn’t to build the biggest business.
It’s to build the right one.
So let me ask you…
What does success actually look like to you?
Not society’s definition.
Not Instagram’s definition.
Yours.

The person you’re comparing yourself to isn’t your competition.
One of the fastest ways to lose confidence is to spend your day watching someone else’s journey.
She launched first.
She has more followers.
She’s making more money.
Her content is better.
Her life looks easier.
But here’s what we forget…
You’re comparing your beginning to someone else’s middle.
Or your middle to someone else’s highlight reel.
Comparison steals something much bigger than your confidence.
It steals your originality.
The moment you start trying to sound like someone else…
Dress like someone else…
Sell like someone else…
You’ve stopped building your business.
The businesses people remember aren’t built by copying.
They’re built by people who have the courage to sound like themselves.
Your story.
Your experiences.
Your perspective.
Your personality.
That’s what makes you memorable.
So instead of asking,
“How can I be more like them?”
Ask,
“How can I become more of myself?”
Because the goal was never to become the next version of someone else.
It was always to become the first version of you.

There was a time when I thought building a business meant doing more.
More content.
More ideas.
More offers.
More courses.
More late nights.
But I’ve learnt something…
Busy doesn’t build businesses. Clarity does.
The women I see make the biggest progress aren’t the ones doing the most.
They’re the ones who know what actually moves the needle.
They’ve stopped reacting to every new idea.
Every Instagram trend.
Every “must-do” strategy.
Instead, they ask one question:
“Is this taking me closer to the business I actually want?”
Because not everything on your to-do list deserves your energy.
Some tasks grow your business.
Some tasks just keep you feeling busy.
And knowing the difference changes everything.

Kim’s done it again — genius marketing. 🎯
She just launched an energy drink and turned every “controversial” headline she’s ever had into the pitch. Didn’t pass the bar? “I raised it.” Plastic surgery jokes? She says them before you can. Nothing dodged, nothing defended — just owned, on her terms, before anyone else got the chance.
A few deeper moves worth clocking too: days of silence before the “leak” so curiosity did the selling. Kim Kardashian has been frequently seen drinking Update Energy Drink on her Hulu reality series, The Kardashians well before the launch. This is genius marketing! And she let fans’ own reaction clips become the content instead of writing her own captions — proof she doesn’t need to convince anyone.
I broke down some of the moves in the campaign — the psychology, the exact lines, and the version of each one you can use in your own business. Save this for when you need the reminder that answering the “obvious” question directly always beats avoiding it.
