To support women in the area during this awful time I would like to announce the following TOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE SELF DEFENCE TUITION COURSES we have decided to run to show our support.

This 2 hour, must do seminar will be held in our Southend locations as soon as lockdown restrictions are lifted ( probably June) but places must be booked in advance as we are limited to the number of participants.

You will be taught by professional MKF Instructors with decades of experience. Classes will be taught in a courteous manner, in full time martial arts schools.
You will not be thrown around, hit, hurt or embarrassed in any way whatsoever, we do this every day, we've got you!

This course is for women of all ages (over 16) of any level of fitness or mobility so don't let your preconceptions of what you need to be, stop you from attending. THIS IS FOR EVERYONE!

Boris has set out his plan, with the hope of hair salons re-opening on the 12th April. We will be ringing guests, in order of appointments booked from the 20th December, to make a new appointment. Should our opening date be delayed, your appointment will also be put back by the exact number of weeks. If you have had or had a positive test with no symptoms of COVID and need a colour appointment YOU MUST HAVE A COLOUR TEST PATCH. Colour test patches will be arranged at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please wait for us to call you.

As 2020 comes to a close, we would like to thank first and foremost our wonderful team.

We have had a very strange and unknown year, not knowing when we will open/close next, all being furloughed and all giving 200% every time we were able to re-open in a very strange and new environment! Working in two separate bubbles and completely following the government guidelines.

We would also like to say a big thank you to all our lovely guests, for your support and kind words .......we miss you and can’t wait to see you all again x

In many ways, we must be thankful for this year as it has taught us all to be very grateful for what we have and given most of us some extra time to do things we wouldn’t have done before. Many have lost loved ones and that is terribly sad, so we must continue to stay safe and stay home.

So here’s to 2021, the new normal........and see you all as soon as we can # #

Boris has been asked by a member of the public “when will non-essential businesses be allowed to open again?” His reply “5th April unless we can speed up the vaccine”

It may be some months until we can see you again, but as soon as we get the green light we will ring you x

It is only left to be said, stay safe, stay at home and see you as soon as we can # # #

Well here we go again!

We will be shut from midnight tonight so have no time to squeeze you all in x

As before, we will contact when we know our re-open date by appointment booked.

This morning we received notification from the NHF that we could actually reopen on Wednesday 2nd December, this evening we had an email from Southend Borough council to say that lockdown ends on Thursday 3rd December.......we will start ringing and re-booking when someone clarifies when we can actually open!

A BIG SHOUT OUT to our team FX .... we managed to pull forward a lot of appointments so that our guests could have their hair experience before lockdown.

We couldn’t have achieved this without our team pulling together and working all the extra hours.

This has meant that we can fight another day......Thank you x now recuperate for the next month before the next heavy shift kicks in # #

We are know closed until 3rd December........at least.
