The very thin layer of oil acts as a barrier, all the lovely moisture we have put onto your skin can not evaporate meaning it has to go into your skin.

This is something I also like to do at home in the evening or if my skin is particularly thirsty!

You only need a couple of drops , then just pat it into your face. You shouldn't be able to feel the oil on your skin, if you can you have done too much !
