During a fun and frustrating day fighting Google, I did manage to finish this Boxster seat.

I didn't want to make it look too new otherwise it would have stood out, but anyway

What do you think..?

I have found out from Google, that somehow the whole account has been deleted.. 😑. So I cannot retrieve anything it's all gone.

I've relisted Lincs repair on Google and Google maps, so we're starting again.

This internet malarkey is exhausting. πŸ˜”

A big job yesterday. And lovely weather, so I removed the cushions from the sofa, and proceeded to clean and treat the damaged epidermal layer in the customers back garden whilst enjoying the sun.

Al was hard at work in the front room giving the sofa and chair a new lease of life, focusing mostly on the arms of the chair, they also had extensive damage to the epidermal layer.

Result speak for them selves, what do you think
This sofa is 20-25 years old 😯

The leather is in much better condition now ❀️

One of the jobs completed in this lovely warm weather, that we were able to complete outside - under cover 😁🌞🌞🌞🌞

Typical problem we see regularly, body oil contamination which has destroyed the leather... it's absolutely pointless trying to repair this type of damage because it is extremely weak, and highly likely to deteriorate if you try to repair, best to replace with brand new fresh leather.

Another busy week, with motorcycle suits, furniture and more Honda NSX interior parts in for repair.

here's the NSX parts.. Our remit was to try and make them as good as we possibly can.

ok we can only try.. especially as a previous owner not only beat the hell out of the interior but also thought it would be a good idea to throw super glue all over the place thinking it would help stick torn and nicked leather back together 😬πŸ₯Ή πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

you can see big globules of other glue substances they thought they'd try too, it had dried hard in a lovely dripping formation..

We never promise an invisible repair and perfection...
But,

We always strive for it tho .....

Here we have a nice Jag, unfortunately the seats have taken a heavy hammering..

Worn down to the epidermal layer and in parts through the whole skin... ☹️

It's now back together and if looked after will give a few more years of service before a retrim is needed.
