What if the real luxury in skincare isn’t the packaging?

We all know the beautiful jars, glamorous counters and instantly recognisable names. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying them.

But when it comes to my own skin, and the skincare I recommend in clinic, I’m much more interested in what’s inside the bottle.

I’ve used and recommended ZO Skin Health for years because I like skincare with a purpose: products selected for the individual, their skin concerns and what we’re actually trying to achieve.

The reality of periocular injectable treatments 👀. Yes, I did this to myself. 😳

I had Belotero Revive injected around my eye area — and this is the reality a few days later.

I’m a dentist and aesthetic practitioner, so I knew bruising and swelling were possible. But in aesthetics, we’re often guilty of showing only the beautiful “after” without showing the slightly less beautiful bit in between.

Belotero Revive is a hyaluronic acid skin booster, rather than a treatment designed simply to add volume. I’m using it here to improve skin quality and hydration around the eye area. Bruising is a recognised risk of injectable treatments, particularly around the delicate eye area.
