As many of you know, balancing work, education and family life keeps me very busy, and I’ve reached a point where I need to make a few changes to my working hours.

Going forward, I’ll be reducing my evening appointments and focusing more on daytime availability, with just one evening option available each month.

If you currently hold an evening appointment with me and would be able to switch to a daytime appointment, I’d be so grateful if you could get in touch so we can look at the options together. 🫶🏼

I completely understand that evenings work best for some of you, and I’ll do my best to accommodate existing bookings where possible.

From Tuesday 6th October, I’ll be dedicating Tuesdays to my new Hair Loss & Scalp Condition Clinic.

If you’re experiencing hair loss, thinning, changes to your scalp or simply have concerns about the health of your hair and scalp, this is a dedicated space where we can talk openly and confidentially. 🤍

Using specialised scalp analysis, we can take a closer look at your scalp and hair, discuss your concerns and look at what may be contributing to the changes you’re experiencing.
Please note I can not certain diagnosis however I can provide my professional opinion based on my training and recommend you through the right channels. Wether that be myself and products, your gp or a trichologist clinician at Philip Kingsley

I’ll also be able to recommend professional, trichology-led hair and scalp products tailored to your individual needs.

Most importantly, this is a safe, private and judgement-free space to discuss any worries you may have.

Whether you’ve noticed a recent change or have been struggling with your hair or scalp for some time, you don’t have to ignore it or feel embarrassed to talk about it.

✨ HAIR LOSS AFTER WEIGHT LOSS ✨

My lovely client has given me the permission to talk about her weight loss journey and her experience with the weight loss injections — which is an amazing achievement, but she’s also noticed something she wasn’t expecting… increased hair shedding and a loss of density.

Changes in weight, nutrition and the body can sometimes trigger increased shedding, leaving the hair feeling noticeably finer and thinner than before.

So today, we added a small amount of Nano extensions — not to create lots of extra length, but simply to replace some of that lost density and give her hair a fuller, thicker appearance while keeping the result really natural. 🤍

Hair changes can happen for so many different reasons, and understanding why the hair may be shedding is just as important as finding ways to help someone feel confident with their hair again.

Sometimes extensions aren’t about having long hair… sometimes they’re about giving someone a little bit of their confidence back. 🫶🏼
With regular maintenance appointments to always keep a close eye on my clients natural hair, allows me to always keep her hairs integrity the most important part of the journey.

Using a specialist scalp camera, I’ll be able to take a much closer look at the scalp and hair, asess what we can see, discuss your concerns and provide tailored advice around hair loss, scalp health and good hair care practices.

From October, I’m incredibly excited to be expanding my hairdressing services to include Hair Health & Basic Trichology and Scalp Analysis Treatments.

Following my advanced training with the Philip Kingsley Academy, I’ll be bringing specialist knowledge into the salon to help you better understand your hair and scalp.

We’ll be looking at areas including:

🤎 The role of nutrition in hair health
🤎 The psychology of hair loss
🤎 Understanding how to approach hair loss with your client (hairdressers only)

My aim is to provide a calm, professional space where we can look at your individual hair and scalp concerns and help you understand the next steps.

I have replied to everyone awaiting replies. Please message me if you haven’t got your next hair date scheduled in advance. Unfortunately with working commitments away I can now only add people to a cancellation list.

Although I fully understand it’s not always possible to book in advance unfortunately with working less evenings it’s something I’m now having to require as last minutes I simply can’t accommodate as much as I used to.
