It’s almost time!✨😃😍

🇬🇧There’s now just over a week to go until the fantastic annual Sleaford 1940s Day event held by Sleaford Town Council in partnership with The William Alvey Church of England School!

The event will be jam packed all day with so much to see and do! We can’t wait to see you all there!🇬🇧

Make sure you come on down, and join in the fun on the 28th July. Don’t forget!

Thank you to Your Local Lincs for putting our 1940s Day event poster in this month’s publication! You can find the poster on page 43, opposite an interview with The Blighty Belles who will be one of the acts on the day!

Also joining us will be Miss Sarah-Jane: The 1940s Vocalist, Alan Jackson - Vintage Singer, Miller Magic Big Band, The 40's Home Front, Billy Biscuit - Magician and Children's Entertainer, Kesteven Morris, Thorpe Camp Visitor Centre, Witzend Carriage Services, Walkabout Goats, Face Painting by Felicity, Nature’s Den Education, MH Inflatables and Boutique Cuts, plus many historic vehicles, stalls and caterers!

There will also be a vintage children’s fair ride, air raid shelter tours, dig for victory - grow your own plants and vegetables activities and vintage games provided by Dais'ie Events.

The Compere for the day will be the Sleaford Town Crier and sound/pa will be provided by audio.

Free entry and free attractions!

The Sleaford 1940s Day event returns this year, bigger and better! A family fun day out.

On Saturday 28th June, it’ll be held at The William Alvey Church of England School, from 11.00am to 4.00pm.

We have so many exciting things organised for the day. We encourage you to bring your chairs, a picnic and make a special day of it!

We will have live entertainment all day!

There will also be prizes for the best dressed adult, child and family!
