☀️ Just had your lips filled during the heatwave? Read this! 💋

Hot weather can make swelling feel a little more intense after lip filler, so aftercare is extra important right now.

Top tips for heatwave aftercare:

💧 Stay hydrated – dehydration can worsen swelling
🧊 Use a cool compress gently if your lips feel warm or puffy
❄️ Keep cool, air con, fans and shade are your best friends
😴 Sleep slightly elevated on your first night to help reduce swelling

Avoid for 24–48 hours:

☀️ Direct sun exposure
🔥 Sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and hot baths
🏃‍♀️ Intense exercise or anything that raises body temperature
🍷 Alcohol, especially in the heat, as it can increase swelling and bruising
👄 Touching or pressing the lips unnecessarily

A reminder:

Swelling, tenderness and some bruising can be completely normal after treatment, but warm weather may make it feel more noticeable for the first couple of days. Be patient with your results 💕
