Injectables in your 20s aren't automatically unnecessary, there are situations where treatment may be appropriate. A good consultation will analyse what bothers you, why it bothers you and if treatment is a good solution 💉

For some people, the muscles that lift the upper lip are particularly active, causing more of the gum to show when smiling. We can use injectables to reduce the strength of this movement slightly, allowing the upper lip to sit a little lower when you smile. We don’t want to restrict your smile or change your expression; the aim is simply to soften excessive elevation of the upper lip while keeping your smile looking natural.

It’s also worth remembering that not every gummy smile has the same cause. The position of the teeth and gums, and the length of the upper lip need a proper assessment before treatment.
