The ASA - Advertising Standards Agency has issued a statement banning all aesthetic practitioners including Doctors and Nurses from advertising botox as a service to the public.

This is an enforcement that applies to every practitioner regardless of their background.

Practitioners are not allowed to advertise or make any suggestion or reference to Botox which includes before and after images with pricing, hashtags or even using wording such as “anti wrinkle injections”

Botulinum Toxin Type A (Botox) is a Prescription Only Medicine or POM, therefore just like Penicillin it can not legally be advertised to the public.
This is nothing new but in the aesthetics industry we use the product for non medical treatments so in the past the rules have been pushed a little.

As of today I will no longer be advertising the treatment. I will however be inviting you to an anti wrinkle consultation.
