There are a few things we'll never compromise on, no matter what.
Every dog deserves to be groomed in a safe, calm environment by people who genuinely care.
This happened to anyone else? Just me? Okay💩
Bit of a more serious topic today at Groom Dog City.
Yesterday, I received a call about the noise a dog was making and whether we should refuse them.
My answer is no.
No video can tell the whole story. If a dog shows signs that we believe indicate fear beyond what can be managed safely and humanely, we absolutely stop, reassess, or recommend an alternative approach. Welfare will always come before finishing a groom.
However, dogs have different ways to express themselves, and although it does sound bad (we know how it sounds!) we maintain our promise to ALWAYS keep your dogs safety and welfare as our first priority.
