One of the biggest things I hear in clinic is:

“I want to improve my under-eyes… but I don’t want filler.”

And that’s completely understandable.

Not everyone with dark circles or hollow under-eyes needs traditional tear trough filler. Sometimes the priority is improving the quality of the skin, restoring hydration and supporting collagen, rather than simply adding volume.

That’s why I love having different treatment options. My job isn’t to convince you to have a particular treatment. It’s to assess what’s causing your concern and recommend the most suitable approach for you.

Have you been put off under-eye filler because you’re worried about looking unnatural or because of stories you’ve seen online? I’d love to know. 👇

Every appointment starts with a full assessment, not a syringe.

This client came to me asking for tear trough filler.

After assessing her face, I explained that I didn’t think treating the tear trough directly would give her the best result.

Sometimes, the shadow under the eyes isn’t caused by the tear trough itself. Instead, it can be influenced by the way the cheek supports the lower eyelid. By restoring support in the cheek, we were able to soften the lid-cheek transition and refresh the under-eye without placing filler directly into the tear trough.

This is why I don’t inject based on what’s requested. I assess your face as a whole and recommend the treatment that I believe will give you the most natural result.

✨ Sometimes the best treatment isn’t the most obvious one.

Would you have guessed no tear trough filler was used?

Wait… there’s a filler made from your own blood? 🩸✨

Most people have never even heard of PRP filler, let alone know how it compares with traditional dermal filler.

Unlike dermal filler, PRP filler is created from your own blood. It doesn’t just restore volume. It also stimulates collagen, improves skin quality and helps rejuvenate the tissue over time.

So what’s the difference?

🩸 PRP filler
• Made from your own blood
• Improves skin quality and stimulates collagen
• Restores volume naturally
• No risk of migration
• No risk of an allergic reaction to a foreign product

💉 Dermal filler
• Made from hyaluronic acid
• Provides instant volume and structure
• Typically lasts longer
• A small risk of migration
• A small risk of an allergic reaction

The truth is, neither treatment is better. They simply do different jobs. The best option depends on your facial anatomy, your concerns and the results you’re looking to achieve. In some cases, they can even work beautifully together.

That’s why a consultation is so important. It isn’t about choosing the “best” product. It’s about choosing the right treatment for you.

Had you heard of PRP filler before today? Be honest… yes or no? 👇

The best lip filler results don’t look like lip filler✨

This client wanted more volume and a shape she felt was more flattering, but her biggest concern was keeping the result natural.

Rather than trying to create a trending lip shape, we focused on enhancing what was already there and creating a result that suited her features.

By working with her natural anatomy, we achieved a fuller, more balanced look while still keeping her lips looking like her lips.

These results were achieved over two treatment sessions 💉✨

Results shown immediately after treatment. Mild swelling is present.

She walked in wanting to feel like herself again 🤎
As we age, we naturally lose volume and support in the mid-face. This contributes to the appearance of smile lines, marionette lines, and a heavier look through the under-eye area
Rather than treating each concern individually, we started with the cheeks
By restoring support here, we create a subtle lifting effect that softens the lower face and improves the lid to cheek transition…without placing filler directly under the eye
Tear trough filler wasn’t suitable in this case, so we focused on what we could treat safely to improve overall balance
A small amount of filler was then placed along the nasolabial folds and marionette lines to soften the corners of the mouth and restore a more rested appearance
She is still healing, so some mild bruising and swelling is expected at this stage and will continue to settle over the coming weeks
This is facial balancing
Treating the cause, not just the symptom
No overfilling
No heaviness
Just her, refreshed 🤎

Natural vs aesthetics? It’s not a competition.

There’s a lot of noise out there.
One side says go gym, drink water, leave your face alone.
The other side is booking everything under the sun.

Truth is… it’s not that black and white.

You can look after your health and still want to soften something that bothers you.
You can choose to do nothing and still feel confident.

Both are valid.

For me, it’s about balance.
Not getting things done just for the sake of it, but choosing what actually suits you and what you feel is needed.

That’s where aesthetics can get a bad rep…
people start treating their face like a checklist instead of understanding it.

And social media doesn’t help.
Everyone’s analysing themselves under a magnifying glass, trying to “fix” everything…
when that’s not what good aesthetics is about.

My role isn’t to convince you to have treatments.
It’s to guide you properly, keep it safe, and keep it looking like you.

Because good aesthetics isn’t about changing your face.
It’s about small, intentional tweaks that still feel natural.

And if you decide it’s not for you? That’s completely fine too.

But also…
the gym isn’t sorting out smile lines 😅

Hairline thinning often doesn’t happen overnight.

For this client, it started very gradually. Over the years she noticed the hair around her edges becoming a little thinner, but it wasn’t until one braided style that felt particularly tight that she realised something had really changed. The thinning suddenly looked more obvious and she noticed a small patch along the hairline.

Situations like this are something I see quite often in clinic. Repeated tension from tight hairstyles can sometimes lead to traction alopecia, where the follicles around the hairline become stressed over time.

In this case we treated the area with PRP combined with microneedling, focusing on supporting the follicles and improving density in the thinning area.

She had two sessions spaced three months apart, and we monitored the progress during that time.

Hair growth always varies from person to person, and results depend on the health of the follicles and how early the area is treated.

If you’ve noticed thinning around your edges or temples, you’re not alone. It’s always worth having it assessed early.

Swipe to see the treatment progress.

Instead of treating the tear trough directly, we treated the support system around it ✨

My client came to me concerned about her under eyes. Long standing, genetic hollowing that made her feel like her face lacked structure and always looked tired, despite her natural beauty.

She wasn’t a suitable candidate for tear trough filler.

So we restored support through the mid face with cheek filler to gently lift and soften the under eye area.
We treated the peri form fossa to improve smile lines.
We added structure to the chin and sides of the chin to bring balance and smoothness to the lower face.

This was completed gradually over two sessions to keep the result natural, undetectable and in harmony with her features.

She still looks like herself. Just refreshed, supported and more confident, with her beauty enhanced rather than changed.

Sometimes the best under eye treatment is not under the eyes at all.

Have you ever thought your under eyes were the problem when it might actually be facial support? Tell me in the comments.
