INCOMING…. Blonde bombshell all ready for her summer hols!
A very simple freshen up. Remove that build up that’s turned her blonde dull and bring her balayage up higher with a popping face frame.
Admittedly, the blind was closed in the before. So it does appear darker than in reality.

Regular toners will keep your blonde fresh and your hair healthy, especially in the sun ā˜€ļø

First things first, seriously thinking about going copper!

Thanks to AI, I was able to change my hair to some of this years trending colours.

Would you believe me if I said you can go longer than 8 weeks with greys? If I said you don’t always need foils or balayage free lights to have dimension? And if you can have a full refresh of colour and styling in a couple of hours?

With a lot of my grey blending clients I now only do foils every 3-4 visits.
This here is 9 weeks of regrowth! Which means you only really need foils 2-4 times a year. In the winter you may need them more frequently as we don’t have the big ball of fire in the sky giving us the natural highlights.
I’ve been lifting this lovely ladies root smudge half a shade for about the last 12-18 months. As those pesky greys and whites come in, they start bringing their mates over time and eventually it’s like an army! By making her root shade slightly lighter each time, we avoided not only uneven shades and tones, but also opened the doorway to longevity. When the roots are kept dark (usually because that’s what you’re used to), your regrowth will be obvious within a few weeks. However, I think this is a good place to stop. Not only because any lighter will eliminate dimension and make it blocky. But once the toner wears off, it’ll look like straw and dry weeks before she’s ready to see me again.
By keeping some warmth in her root melt, the dimension works more naturally and the colour will last longer. All the whole, not letting that army of greys and whites so damn obvious.

For this I used equal parts 8.00+7.1 and a splash of 6:46 to neutralise the ash and avoid it looking too dull.
For her toner I used 9.1+9.46+9.49 and a splash of gold to give it this lovely buttery beige blonde.
So in just a couple of hours, for less than Ā£200, you can have what appears to be a full refresh, without it looking blocky. Who’d have thunk it!

If you’d like to blend the greys and not have to book an appointment every 6 weeks, drop me a message and we can discuss what you might need.
