Feel Good Friday

Some achievements never lose their meaning.

I received this beautiful card marking the 30th anniversary of the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games.

Being an Olympian wasn't just about one summer in 1996. It shaped who I am, taught me resilience, discipline and perseverance, and those lessons still guide me every day.

A lovely reminder that while medals and moments fade, the values stay with you forever.

Once an Olympian. Always an Olympian. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Feel Good Friday ๐Ÿ’›

Not every night's sleep is perfect.

Despite 23 restless moments, I'm up, recharged and ready to seize the day. โ˜€๏ธ

Focus on what you can control, show up anyway, and let consistency do the rest.

Have a great weekend! ๐Ÿ’ช

Throwback Thursday ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ

I missed Olympic Day last week, so here's my throwback...

During lockdown, I dug out my Atlanta 1996 Team GB kit to see if I could still squeeze into it... and somehow, I did! ๐Ÿ˜…

Today, 1st July 2026, it's almost 30 years to the day since I wore this kit on the Olympic track in Atlanta.

The years have passed, but the lessons haven't.

Discipline. Resilience. Consistency.

Those same values still shape everything I do today, whether I'm training for HYROX, competing in lawn bowls, or helping clients move better, recover from injury and perform at their best.

Some memories never fade. โค๏ธ

โ˜€๏ธ Saturday vibes

Picked up my first competitive win today (even if it was a friendly) against Pinner BC.

Halfway There: Your Mid-Year Reset 01/06/2026

Halfway through the year already... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Whether 2026 is going exactly to plan or not, there's still plenty of time to move forward.

The latest Wellness Drop is now live, exploring why a mid-year reset might be exactly what you need.

Halfway There: Your Mid-Year Reset Where has this year gone already?

Motivation Monday

The difference a de-load week can makeโ€ฆ

Same effort.
Very different outcome.

Last week: ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ 10.25km @ 6:51/km
This week: ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ 10.61km @ 6:37/km

Lower heart rate.
Better pace.
More efficient running.

Sometimes the biggest progress comes from backing off strategically, allowing the body to recover, absorb the training, and come back stronger.

Recovery isnโ€™t weakness.
Itโ€™s part of the process.

Deload to reload ๐Ÿ”

Feel Good Friday ๐Ÿ˜Œ

This week was all about the de-load.

Not every week needs to be full throttle. Sometimes progress comes from pulling back strategically so the body can absorb the work.

This weekโ€™s focus:
๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ Maintain running quality without overload
๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ Keep strength progressing
โœŠ๐Ÿพ Improve grip consistency
โค๏ธ Reinforce Zone 2 work
๐Ÿฅ— Reset nutrition habits

And of courseโ€ฆ topped it all off with a little bowling.

Recovery is productive too.
Now we build again.

The May Wellness Drop is here.

May the force be with youโ€ฆ and in this case, itโ€™s not strength โ€” itโ€™s precision

Iโ€™ve recently started playing bowls, and itโ€™s not what I expected.

What looks simple is actually far more technical than youโ€™d think.
