✨Lymphatic drainage is a gentle yet deeply effective technique that helps your body eliminate excess fluid, reduce inflammation, and enhance your overall sense of wellbeing.

When performed correctly, your lymphatic system responds in a clear and measurable way. In this carousel, I highlight three real, physiological signs that indicate your drainage is working properly:
-body lightness, increased urination, and reduced swelling.

These responses not only confirm that the technique has been applied appropriately, but also show that your body is activating its natural detoxification processes.

If you don’t notice these signs, it may be time to review the frequency of your sessions, the technique being used, or the experience of the professional treating you.

Lymphatic drainage isn’t magic — it’s pure physiology. And when it’s done well, your body makes it evident. ✨⚕️

Today we answered the most common post‑op questions:

💗 Why do I need lymphatic drainage?
After surgery, your body retains fluid, inflammation and lymphatic congestion. Drainage helps move all of that and prevents fibrosis.

💗 Do post‑op massages hurt?
No. Proper lymphatic drainage is gentle and relaxing. If it hurts, it’s not correct drainage.

💗 Why do small lumps or hardness appear?
It’s accumulated fluid or the beginning of fibrosis. With the right technique, it softens.

💗 How many sessions do I need?
Between 8 and 12. Inflammation changes weekly, and fibrosis appears between weeks 2 and 5 — consistency is key.

And yes… a seroma can turn into fibrosis if left untreated.
Fibrosis is not just a “hardening” of the tissue — it is your body’s defensive response to fluid that failed to drain. When the seroma becomes trapped, the body forms a collagen capsule around it. Over time, this capsule becomes firm, uneven, and can distort the shape of the treated area.

🌟 Why early action matters
Fibrosis is far easier to manage in its initial stages. The tissue is still “soft” and responds better to techniques such as:

• Specialist massage
• Controlled radiofrequency
• Therapeutic ultrasound
• Professional lymphatic drainage
• Guided compression

Early intervention helps the tissue regain softness, mobility, and uniformity, preventing fibrosis from becoming permanent.

Fibrosis is a natural bodily response, but it should never be ignored. Spotting it early and seeking professional support is essential to protect your results, reduce discomfort, and achieve a smoother, more harmonious recovery. Your body communicates — if you notice firmness, hard lumps, or changes in texture, it’s time to act.

If you suspect you may be developing fibrosis or have noticed changes in your tissue, book a professional assessment. An expert can evaluate your recovery stage and guide you towards the most suitable treatment. Your healing deserves specialised care from the very beginning.

When a seroma appears, your body is sending a message.
This clear fluid collecting beneath the skin isn’t an infection or pus — it’s a natural response as your body works to heal after surgery or an aesthetic procedure.

A seroma often feels like a soft, mobile pocket of fluid with a sense of internal pressure. It’s usually not dangerous, but it does require professional attention to prevent discomfort, prolonged swelling, and delays in your final results.

Proper management — lymphatic drainage, correct compression, and specialist assessment — is essential for a safe recovery and for maintaining the outcome you’re expecting.

Treating a seroma promptly is an act of care for your wellbeing and your healing journey. 🤍✨
